For example, "Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine" is not a vaccine but an investigational drug under IND 19736. The FDA allowed Pfizer to include the word "vaccine" in its name, and hence the reason you see it capitalized! That is a form of deceptive implicature because you assume it is a vaccine simply because the word is there, but the reality is that the word vaccine is part of the drug's investigational formal name and not a sign of its classification. No federal agency mandated persons to take an EUA drug under threat of penalty! Not even the DoD. The federal agencies allowed underlings to imply those conditions and act on them. When cell lysates transfected with S protein were incubated with nattokinase, the S protein was degraded in a dose- and time-dependent manner. Immunofluorescence analysis showed that S protein on the cell surface was degraded when nattokinase was added to the culture medium. Thus, our findings suggest that nattokinase exhibits potential for the inhibition of SARS-CoV-2 infection via S protein degradation.
